Watch Rachel Atherton Fix Her Own Dislocated Shoulder – And Get Back on Her Bike
You have got to watch this video of Downhill World Champion Rachel Atherton dislocating her shoulder, then reducing it with the help of a spectator before getting back on her bike to finish the race.
“My shoulders are my weakest point after multiple dislocations over the last 15 years, and this sport is savage!” she said on Instagram.
The crash above happened in a pre-ride at the Fort William Downhill World Cup in Scotland, although she finished that ride it kept her from racing and also kept her out of the Leogang World Cup ending Atherton’s two-year World Cup winning streak. Crazy stuff.
